suit

I find that when I'm playing with a suit coat on it mutes the strings and sounds bad. I usually wear a vest with a dress shirt underneath and roll the sleeves up but my conductor says I have to match the rest of the orchestra. Does anyone know a way to make this work?

I've got the basic note progression for the chorus, verse, etc. but am having a hard time with the fills and the bridge. Anybody familiar with this song that could lend a hand? If you're wondering about why we chose this song, it was a song featured on a Coca-Cola commercial in the mid 2000's...
