    HX Stomp Newbie

Hi guys, Just acquired a HX Stomp to replace my pedals and have something smaller. The issue is that I find that the bass signal sounds distorted all the time even if I bring the drive down on the patches/amp sims that I choose. What could be causing this? All my bass are passive.

    Bass sounds thin (especially slap)

Hello, I'm currently playing a Yamaha BB234 and it's the only bass that i have. I've noticed that the slap sound of the bass is quite thin. It doesn't have that desired "clack" or "thump" sound. It sounds too thin in A, D, and G strings. Whenever I looked at youtube tutorials of slap it quite...

For sale Yamaha BB 400, Fralins & Super-Clean

This bass is in amazing shape for a 40-year-old instrument. These MIJ BB series basses were/are “killer p-bass instruments.” Sometimes referred to as a “legal-era’ bass, the Japanese copies made in this period were often superior to American-made originals at the time. This is a player’s bass...

Yamaha BB435 - B string problem. Help me!

Hello, I'm a beginner bassist who purchased Yamaha BB435. But IMO its B string is unbalanced and has short sustain with dull sound. The string is stock and I just flatten my neck because the gap between 12th fret and strings has almost 5~6mm. Now it seems to have 3mm and plays nicely. And I...

    NBD : Yamaha BB435

I'm just a beginner so I cannot judge the sound, tension, low B, etc etc. But it looks cool and not too heavy. The neck is smooth and feels very nice. Now I'm going back to practice - Enjoy!
