1/4 TSm to TSf Solid Adapter

This is exactly correct. Active preamp with passive pickups. So... What's my move? Sorry, I wish I knew more about this so I appreciate the hand holding.
Yeah, that rules out my idea of using a TRS cable.

If you can live with a hack, maybe slap a trs plug on one end of a normal TS cable, but don't wire the Sleeve connection to anything? Just mark the ends clearly...

Problem why you can't find one is that TS male to TS female isn't an adapter, it's more like an ultra-ultra-short extension cable.

So what you could do is instead get a slightly longer extension cable, like maybe one foot long... or get a plug and a socket and wire up your own.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing presently. I have a short cable that connects to the amp, and the amp sits in a strap-mount for a wireless transmitter. The problem is that any time I want to change something, the amp is inaccessible. Truly, this is a first-world problem. I was just hoping the solution would be simpler.

Active circuits generally use a TRS (aka stereo) output jack to switch the circuitry on and off when a regular mono cable is inserted into the jack. The solid "sleeve" of a standard mono plug bridges the contacts to complete the circuit and turn on the electronics (and unplugging turns it off so it doesn't drain your batteries.) The special design of this wireless system uses a TRS plug, too - to allow for its easy charging in the dock. However, this means that it will NOT bridge the contact on an active preamp or an instrument with active pickups (like a bass guitar or an NS Design CR model bass.) Since it won't "turn the circuit on," the instrument won't make sound.

Using an adapter between the instrument or preamp and the wireless

The solution is simple - using a small, lightweight adapter between the wireless and the instrument/preamp output will provide the correct contacts to make everything work, and it's easy and inexpensive. We provide an add-on option, so that you can include one with your purchase of this wireless system if you need it, so you don't have to go searching online to find one.

Yep, that's the deal. Ah, the good ol' days! Used to have to do this kinda stuff all the time! I think I still have a bin full of adaptors somewhere!

The part labeled "Adapter" is EXACTLY what I need. And of course, they don't sell it, but will offer it free as an addon if you buy a wireless system.
🙃 I wish I was in need of one, but literally I own both generations of the wireless system that they sell.

The nice thing is that I live in the U.S. -- in New Jersey -- where Gollihur music happens to be located (although granted -- it's about 2 hours drive). I will be giving them a call on Monday. Where shall I tell them to send your commission check?

If you find this type of adapter, spend what it takes to get decent quality.

I needed some 1/8" TRS F to 1/4" TS M summing adapters and most of the ones I tried were junk, even some name brand ones.

Although I don't know what "name brand" even means anymore on a site like Amazon.
