$100 Premium for special color?

Specs tab on the MF website states all that you want to know. Alder body.

Hey, if I knew how much money you can save by calling in and asking for a lower price, I'd be out $100-$200 less easy from the last few months. It's worth a shot! (Had to buy 4 speakers for my 810, pickup for my P, pickup for my Strat, and an audio interface. Ouch!)

But the USA Deluxe models use a different shape and pickguard shape...
Even if the colour was the same it still wouldn't be as nice (IMO again)

I knew the Deluxe had a smaller body, but I never noticed how different they look than the Standard. And the Deluxe does indeed look nicer to my eye also.

Maybe I should consider the Am. Deluxe. I have an American Deluxe Strat that is just a work of art. (Sorry about the git reference)
