110 ported cab might be a stupid question probably is

I have an 2008 MarkBass Jeff Berlin 151 combo with a B&C 15in speaker. I like to add another speaker cab, but don't want heavy cause I am 66years old with a hip issue. So have you heard anyone adding just a 110 bass cab to a 15in combo. My Jeff Berlin will put out 500 watts with another cabinet. I though about adding a 250 t0 300 watt 110 ported cab. Know tweeter my combo has know tweeter either. I use to use a SWR 750 head and 210s and a 15 cab. since hip thing I have gone to less weight. Anyway I though this the best place to ask. I even though about using my little Amps BA 110 Put a better speaker 300 watts and fix it so I can unplug the speaker from the Amp and using it for a cab, then when I get done Pug the Amp back up. That way I can use it as a cab then back to a little combo,

Check out acme bass cabinets. You may not even need the 15.

Your principle concerns appear to be additional volume with minimal additional weight. Your (Ampeg) BA-110 is remarkably heavy for a 110 combo. Further, few 10 inch drivers will contribute significantly to that B&C 15. A pair of 10's is a much better bet. Better still is another 115 cab - check out the Fender Rumble 115 cab: quite sensitive, nice bass tone, and light weight.

how about one 112 cab would that work, i will check out the fender rumble 115 . sorry my cap locks is stuck again. sometimes it large caps and now small.

maybe a markbass 15" extension cab that matches the combo,
no benifit from adding a 93db speaker to a 98db speaker it will do nothing.

use another matching 15"
2x15 bass rigs was the standard for years
