110 question.

I play 110s. I like the feel. But I've notice on the 2 basses that have them, one has a lot of tension on the strings, the other does not. I've never thought much of it, but I played a couple of 5 strings last week n noticed that the strings were very floppy an loose. Should a thicker gauge be floppy?

Depends on the tuning, scale length, and build of the bass.
