Thanks for your input, KJung, figuredbass, and Sactobass.
I pretty much narrowed it down to DB112 and ML112 (mostly ML112. You convinced me KJung!:D). I don't think I will get the fEARful, since I have no idea what to do in their website. They confuse me. I am pretty sure they are good, since a lot of people here love them. Sorry for not listing them on the poll!

I hope this thread continues and helps people who are looking at the 112 cabs.

I haven't had the opportunity to play through Roger's ML112 cab, but based on everything I have read about it, that cab rocks!

Be sure to post up once you play through it, and let us know your opinion!

I've played a few of the cabinets on that list, and was contemplating buying the DB112 or the Genz, and wound up buying one of Roger's ML112 boxes. Ken has outlined the good stuff regarding this cab, but what he didn't mention was Roger's customer service and approachability. He actually sent me a Christmas card, thanking me for being part of the family. Great product and a thoughtful manufacturer? Can't beat that with a stick. The ML112 is definitely worth a look, especially for some Pbass action. Let us know what you decide on.

+1 that the DB112 is also VERY P Bass friendly. However, not even in the same universe as the Baer ML112, which is lighter, louder, deeper, just as punchy, and also has a much more usable top end with the mid driver for that kind of vibe.

Epi 112UL (nice cab) would be one of the last cabs I would recommend for the OP's needs, since it is quite hi fi up top, and has quite a lack of upper mids and also low mid punch that really make a P bass sing. IMO and a lot of IME on that one!
I wasn't even aware of Baer products - thanks for bringing them to my attention. I'll look forward to trying the ML112 at some point. Nice to see that neos are still alive and well in new products!

+1 regarding the UL2-112. I meant to say that as much as I like it for personal use, the DB112 sounded to be a clearly better match for the classic P-bass vibe...

I am running a pair of Acme Flatwounds - P with flats, and a Streamliner 900. Played my first gig with this rig last Friday, and I have never been more satisfied with my tone. Load in and out was a breeze as well.

I've had some VERY nice evenings with my P Bass with nickel wounds and a 4ohm Acme FullRange with my Streamliner 900. It again will only go so loud, but with two, you could handle most everything.
