Double Bass 12 Gauge Green Condenser Mic

I didn't think to post this here until now. I have a couple of their omni mics for recording but the Green one would probably be the most suitable. The Omni's sound great for the price/weight/size. No idea about the greens but they seem pretty solid having read reviews.

All these mics are very light so it would be more than suitable to use with the H-Clamp or stringing it somehow under the bridge. This might be worth someone's time to experiment.

The price still seems shocking to me every time I see it: $45

I wish they only had a dynamic mic to go along with the rest.

I'm not knowledgeable about miss. Would the brass end have to point directly at the top, since it is directional?

On another note, looks like long brass so it should eject easily once fired.

I can't help but think you get what you pay for here...a shotgun shell with a less than mediocre mic element stuffed inside. Who knows though..I'd wrap that thing in black gaffers and foam and give it a hit as a cheap date.

I own this mic and use it in the studio. It's great- similar to a 57. I have not used it on bass yet. It requires 48v.
