$1600 for an '83?

All I can say is my car was made in '84... and I paid $600 for it.... It runs great, but I don't think I would have spent any more on it. I'm sure you can see the analogy I'm trying to make. :)

Not really a good analogy.

Desirability determins actuall selling price of anything. An early 80's Precision in VERY nice shape, is somewhat desirable.

I'm sure that's not a 84 Porsche 959 your driving, or it probably would have cost more than $600.

See what I'm getting at?

EDIT: O.K. maybe a 959 isn't the best example because it's pretty exotic.
How about an 84 Corvette then?
