    Huge sound, high arching, speaks quickly and easily.
    Label: Made in Chester NH 1844, by Moses A. Tewksbury
    Clone of Prescott gamba model: giant, strong scroll, joined f-holes.(Tewksbury worked in his shop)
    42 1/2" SL
    Overall, 77"
    UB 22 LB 28 body length 48
    Ribs are 7” at neck, just under 9" at deepest part of UB, and 9" at LB
    Restored in 2011
    Low b extension, strung with original Flexes

    This is an amazing orchestra/jazz bass- way too big for me for solos, but it is phenomenal in orchestra- huge sound, and speaks very easily
