Here is a magnificent Hofner Verithin bass from 1965. It is about as clean as they come and sale also includes the lacquered tweed case, which is a work of art in itself. Bass is all original with the exception of one screw on the D tuner and the pickups were re-wound by the inimitable Lindy Fralin. They are loud and punchy and embody the quintessential Hofner tone we all know and love. Only thing kind of funky is that the the tone pots work in reverse - all the way up rolls treble off and all of the way down is full treble. Could easily be re-wired to correct this, but it never bothered me.
