I feel like this goes up every 6 months, and then I come to my senses and pull the thread....
Selling a refinished 1966 Fender P.
I bought this a few years ago, here on Talkbass. The finish had been stripped and stained, as well as some of the hardware swapped out (it had replacement knobs and a badass bridge). I tracked down the necessary parts to restore it (1965 bridge and knobs), and sent it to John Kallas for a refin. I'd originally planned to go the custom color route, BUT... I found some of the original sunburst in the neck pocket and decided to "restore" it.
The neck is still 100% original. It just felt too good. So: body = refin. Neck = original (this where I toss in the "mojo" word...)
It's a GREAT player, and sounds phenomenal in the studio. Plus, since it's refinished, you don't need to obsess over nicks and scratches. Simply: this bass rules. If you're looking for a great old P, this is it.

Has a fresh setup with TI rounds, to boot!
Includes OHSC, which has some artwork on it... and the latches aren't the most reliable. BUT... its there.
