1966 Jazz bass parts

This would be the way to do it IMO, maybe have some experienced hands helping out, but I'd try this before I ever sent it off to Fender

...I forget, but there's a site/blog where a guy was selling PERFECT repro Fender decals...I had it bookmarked somewhere...hmmmm

I'm pretty sure the site you refer to was closed down...did it have the word big in the name?

Yeah, I think so. Guy had some amazing decals. Even had period correct versions of every instrument (like the change on a Precision bass' PAT #'s between 61-62, etc)
