    Selling this for a friend.

1969 Johan Rauner Model 767. In decent condition for a bass that's almost 40 years old. All plywood with an ebony fingerboard and beech neck. Has had some typical damage over the years as reflected in the pictures. The repair to the neck/body joint was pre-existing. The top, back, and sides all appear to in good structural condition. I recently did the following work on it:
    1. New adjustable bridge.
    2. The fingerboard was coming loose so I reattached it with granulated hide glue.
    3. Dressed the fingerboard.
    4. Reinforced the scroll. A few hairline cracks were beginning to develop. See picture.
    5. Replaced the tailpiece wire.

While I'm no Nick Lloyd or Arnold Schnitzer I was trained by a luthier to repair school instruments that he no longer wanted to work on.

The tone is on the bright side. The Spirocores that were on it were too bright and tinny to my ears. It's currently wearing D'Addario Preludes which sound much better to me.

    No case or bow.

No shipping so you will need to come to Bend, Oregon. Let me know if there are any questions.
