Price Drop!
Up for grabs is this beautiful 1970 Ampeg Dan Armstrong Lucite Bass. It was recently re--truss-rod-nutted and set up (as far as you can set up a 24-fret short scale bass with a rosewood bridge) by legendary Vancouver stringed instrument mechanic Paul Iverson.

The good stuff:
- gorgeous condition, no gouges
- LOUD, powerful original pick-up with no wear on it like most of them that you see
- original orange drop caps (original everything, for the record)
- original hardshell ESS & ESS molded case
- Grover tuners
- Shaeller strap locks
- original rosewood thumb rest is included
- back in the 80's someone made a clear pick guard for it - that comes with!
- have a look at the pick guard - that old formica chipped away on the one screw closest to the strap buttons
- speaking of strap buttons, one of the originals never came with it when I got it
- under where the thumb rest goes, the holes are chipped from the wrong screws being put in there
- in the control cavity, there's a perfectly fit Robertson screw (one of three) holding the pick-up in
$2200 CAD +$100 CAD shipping - price is firm
The only trade I'm considering is a for Gibson Thunderbird, preferably white, +/- cash.
