This is a super cool, very light (~8 pounds) 1970 Precision. It has some finish wear, but is in overall good playing condition, sets up well, and sounds great. It has a B neck, which feels great.

The original pickup is not working, but is included. There is currently an aftermarket pickup installed (not sure what kind - it was in there when I bought the bass). It looks like the original pots and jack were also replaced along with the pickup, but are also included. I'm not sure of their condition.

This bass has been up on TB a couple of times before. I got it about two years ago from this thread:
No longer available - 1970 Fender Precision Bass

It's in exactly the same shape as when I bought it. I intended to get the pickup re-wound, but never got around to it.

There's also a lot of good info in this older thread from a previous sale in 2015:
    SOLD - 1970 Fender Precision

Price lowered to $2500 plus shipping. I'm moving next week and would like to find this a new home before then.

Ah yes, the old faux burst. I remember seeing this the last time it was up. Very cool bass

CBS had bodies with not so great looking grain, and orders for Sunburst guitars. So hey, why not just use Paint brushstrokes to create wood grain? That’s why you see a white coat under the burst. Don’t see them a lot these days. Super cool piece of history imo.

I can't say for sure, but as far as I know, the pickguard is original. I'm happy to take more pictures if anyone more knowledgeable can say for sure.
