Anyone want to own a piece of legit electric bass history?
I’m selling my 1974 Carl Thompson 4 string. 1974 was the year Carl started building basses and this one is said to be the 10th one built. It does not have a serial number, but it is 100% legitimate and checks out as authentic. It is in great shape for being 49 years old. There’s a few dings here and there as expected. The neck is straight, frets are all in great shape. The bridge is non-original, but i will include the original ebony bridge. Walnut body, maple neck, ebony fretboard, MOP block inlays, 25 frets, passive volume/tone/3-way pickup selector, 34” scale length. The last picture is a screen shot taken from the ctbasses.com photo collection under 1974. I have it listed on ctbasses.com for $7000, but will entertain legit offers.
I will ship, $100 for the lower 48 states, Alaska, Hawaii, and international buyers must cover full shipping costs and import fees if applicable. Ships in hardshell case.
