1976ish Ampeg SVT back outlet?

A pic might help. There was not a lot of variety among the components available for those purposes.
Do you mean an auxiliary AC outlet for powering something else? There may be a reason why those are not included in new designs, and an option might be to just cap off the hole and remove the internal wiring going to the outlet.

I wont be able to get a pic til thursday but yeah its just like a outlet in the wall in the back
it was very convenient when it worked but one day I went to plug it in and it just crumbled now its just sitting inside there but the head still works

If it were me, I would check with my local electronics supplies store. IMO, there is nothing particularly unique about those outlets.
