1979 Honer telecaster body short scale bass

Is anybody else ever seen 1 of these. If so does anyone have any good information on them. I can't seem to find much of anything on the internet. Thanks in advance.

I've seen a few of them over the years, but never really found a lot of info on them. Sorry I can't help other than to reply and "bump" the thread.

That short scale sort-of-Tele bass seems to have been a template shared among Japanese manufacturers, but the 6-bolt neck plate is a characteristic of Morris (Moridaira) provenance. Toshio Moridaira was the first Fender and Gibson dealer in Japan, and formed the Morris Guitar Company in 1967, with its own factory in Nagano. During the 1970's they did much export business under the Hohner aegis, of which this would be an example. - It might be said that quality shot up radically around 1980 with their H.S. Anderson brand, also exported as Hohner (remember the 'Prince' Telecaster guitar).
