1979 Ibanez Musician MC824

What do you think, dudes?
The guy wants $650.
I've wanted one since high school. (a long time)
The tuning peg "situation" concerns me a bit.

Thoughts? General meanderings?

Oh yeah; I'm moving to NJ in 2 days, so I would have to "jump" soon.

Here's a hint - when you want to see what these are selling for, you can use google. I just pasted "Ibanez Musician MC824" into google and got a ton of hits.

Pretty good price. I would ask him if he has the original tuning pegs too.
I had the MC924 with the 3 band EQ many years ago and it was an awesome bass. These Ibanez Musician basses are probably the best basses they ever made imo, heavy but extremely well made. Check the neck and if it all works, would be a pretty good buy. You don't see these very often.
