I am selling my 1980 Rickenbacker 4001. All original with Rickenbacker hardshell case. Frets are very good, finish is very clean. The back does have some wear but nothing though the finish.

$1750.00 shipped.

That's one beautiful Ric, are you sure that you want to sell her? You will most likely never find another one this nice which will make it a Hugh regret down the road! I have a 72 that I came real close to selling once and I shudder to think of how close I came. Choose wisely. Just my opinion mind you.

I sold/traded a 1983 4003 Rickenbacker 2 years ago. I am not 100% if I like these 1 "trick ponies"

I would sell a 4003 if I had to, but never a beautiful 4001 and there are a few other tricks in there!

Dunno what to type in here.
I'll trade you a better tricky pony... a fender American standard p bass modded w/ fender pure vintage '64 p bass pickups and strung with thomastik infeld jazz flats with a Mesa boogie powerhouse 2x15 bass cabinet. I'll give you a hardshell case/gig bag and the original stock pickups with it. The bass sounds like a dream coming out of my ampeg svt vr.
