83 Precision Elite, super clean, LIGHT, like 8 3/4 lbs, almost unheard of for late Fullerton era P’s. Neck profile is wide, flat C width (1-3/4), very 1957, and surprisingly comfortable. All there except the silly ‘fine tuners’, no issues, excellent player, preamp works perfect, F knobs perfect, very minor impressions on the back, one pinhead-sized ding on the back of the lower horn, nothing through the paint. Ships in TKL case (the chainsaw case in the pic is gone). Added bonus, the bass also has the correct and impossible to find HipShot drop tuner with the matching big cloverleaf. Original tuner included, of course.
How’s it sound? Forward and a touch aggressive, kinda Spector/ Jazz Bass-y grit with both pickups running, can get bright, dark, and a lot in between. Very versatile bass, extremely well built, and fast becoming collectable.
$1750 USD, shipped Canada and US 48.
