I hate to let this go, but I have for sale a beautiful condition 1990 Fender Jazz Bass V Plus bass,
It has no mods, and has the pair of Lace pickups and Kubicki 9 volt preamp, that sounds wonderful,
One of the controls is a four position switch that allows for passive, active, active with mid-boost, and bass OFF,
In the back of this bass under the battery cover is a control to adjust how much mid-boost there is in the active w/mid boost switch position (a matter of taste),
This bass is in exceptional condition, with very little to no fret wear,
I am the second owner, the first being a friend that played it very little,
The pictures do not show the great color scheme of this bass,
Comes with the original Fender hard shell case that also looks "NEW",
As far as the bass, if you look at it in the right angle of light there are some very minimal scratches below the neck pickup from finger nails, but usually they are not visible, On the back one can see, but you again have to look hard, with the right angle of light, some very mild belt marks,
Other than that, she is very pristine!!,
Why am I selling "Blue Bird"?, Well, on my left hand, back when I was 20 years old, I got my left index finger broken at the middle knuckle, and ever since, it is locked and won't bend, I find that with the width of a 5 string bass, I have trouble playing with this finger the way it is, I am much better on a narrow Jazz four string bass, Other than that I love this bass, UGH!!!!
Questions welcome, thanks for reading all of this,
