It also features the large black headstock that made Ken Smith Bases the king of the bass world back in the 1990s. This bass has a 5 piece neck that is fully neck through and even has birdseye on the neck. It has a 5 piece body with a mahogany core, with a Walnut back. Take a look they don't make them like this anymore and basses like this rarely come up for sale. The bass is in excellent condition for a 34 year old bass. It comes with the sought after Ken Smith Coffin case. The weight of the bass is 9.91 lbs and it features a beautiful swirl pattern macassar ebony fingerboard. The serial number is under 800. As you can see this bass is from the Ken Smith 1990s golden era and both looks and sounds the part.
