Details

Ernie Ball Music Man USA made Sterling bass in Pearl White with a black pickguard and rosewood fretboard. The bass has a couple dings here and there, but overall in excellent condition. It has a hipshot bass Xtender installed thats works perfectly. The neck ad body are slimmer than a normal Music Man Stingray and are incredibly comfortable. The bridge muting system works as well. It has a gel dot thumb rest on the pickguard that can likely be removed if desired. The pickup was replaced by the previous owner with a Nordstrand MM 4.3. The controls are master volume, treble, mids, and bass both cut and boost with a 3 way switch for single coil, parallel, and series wiring. It comes with a brand new Road Runner Highway Premium case. The serial number is 42476. Price includes shipping CONUS.

Shipping CONUS or available for local pickup.

Cool! So with the nordstrand MM pickup, does it have more of the stingray sound rather than the sterling sound? Thanks

I'm not sure entirely what the difference would be, but it sounds similar to both to me. I can record some sound samples when I get back from holiday vacation if you'd like.

Here is a recording I made of the bass. I recorded it through my Helix with nothing on the path, just the straight DI. The open strings I play in the beginning are just the bass with the EQ all in the middle, just switching through the three way switch. The rest of the track is the all the EQ (treble, mid, and bass) boosted fully. I'm moving the three way switch as I play. I recorded the DI rather than using a amp/cab sim as I've found the tone of this bass can be molded fairly easily depending on the amp you use, so I felt the DI represented the bass itself.
