1995 US Spector NS-5 neck through

Sorry, I worded that rather poorly. I meant two separate points. First, I think the value is probably around $2000-$2500, and second, knowing your nose for bargains, you'll get it much cheaper.

No problem Pat, I understood. I was saying I don't know the pricing or the market for a mid 90's US bass. It's very clean, maybe I'll pick it up. 'Cause I need another bass;)

BTW your buckeye is sweet.

Thanks man. I'm loving the buckeye. I'd really like to see that bass if you pick it up. I could be totally off on price, because you really don't see many of those come up used, but I'm basing it on the fact new that'd sell for probably close to 4K. I believe the US Spectors are in a similar price range as Sadowsky NYCs new, so would probably sell used in the same ballpark.

Picked it up[ this morning. Completely went over the bass, pulled everything apart and cleaned it up. Restrung, adjusted trussrod and saddles. Very nice.

I'm insanely jealous! Congrats Brad.

I rarely stop by the pawnshop where I found this, it had probably been a year since the last time when I stopped by last week. Then this week, after washing my car, for some reason I thought why not stop by again. Weird.

This bass was fun to clean up and put back into shape. The strings were so old they didn't want to come off the tuning pegs after they were loosened. Now it looks like a new bass.
:D

Super sweet! Congrats! I love pawn shop finds like that one. I happened to go into a pawn shop with a friend who wanted to pawn a camera. I saw my first NS-2A there and nabbed it in immaculate condition for $250.

What did you end up giving for her?
