Here is a Dec 1998 Lakland USA Joe Osborn/40-60 made during the "Golden Years" - Alder/slab dark Indian Rosewood board/Birds eye maple dot inlays/original Fralins /serial # is sub 50/ 9 1/4 lbs. neck/board are pristine. Has Joe Osborn's headstock signature (first 100 or so had this) and a nice puffy old school Lakland gig bag. This bass was plek'd/set-up, shielded, and also had a bone nut installed by Mike Lull (RIP). Amazingly low action and fastest neck around. Comes with the original parchment guard (cracked) and two other direct replacement guards from WD (see pics). There are a couple of minor body blemishes - neck is pristine. What I know - I traded a heavier 1969 J bass refin with Lollars for this beauty and this Lakland is just way, way better - Deep and alive. Mike Lull made it play perfectly and it's been my #1 for a few years now. But it's time to move it along. $2400 plus actual shipping. Trade interest is a Lull P4 with a 1.5 nut (or something similar).
