1998 MIM Jazz Bass 5 Neck

Hello, i bought a 90s 5 string j bass a couple of months ago, the neck was warped and the truss rod did work, okay fine i bought a new neck off warmoth and when i set it up the neck was still curved a little but not as bad as the original neck, honestly i want to put the original neck on but what can i do? Is the neck supposed to be curved a little or should it be straight?

That should help answer your question. Adjusting the truss rod will straighten the neck.

Careful with the Fender neck. If you need to tighten the truss rod on that one, do it with the strings loose, and pull the neck straight before you tighten the nut. The nuts on that specific model are prone to stripping, and even cracking in half.
