2 MM pickups

Hi I have a Stingray knock off with a SD MM pickup SMB-4D & a SD STC-3M4 preamp.
What I was thinking about is putting a 2nd MM pickup in the bass.
What do you people out there think should I install a SD SMB-4A or a SD SMB-4D .
If I go 1 a & 1 d which do you think I should have in the bridge & which 1 in the neck.
I will install either a 5 or 3 postion switch on the bass.

A lot of people on the forum are based in the U.S. or canada where its anywhere from 4-7am so most people are asleep, give it a few more hours.
That being said I cant say that i have any valuable input as i have never used either of the pickups but one is ceramic based and one is alnico based, from my understanding the decision comes from what sound you want to get out of your bass.
