Didn't realize I accidentally ordered 2, until both showed up yesterday:

No name Chinese ebay ripoff (Musicvox? not sure) 12 string bass - strangely enough, it seems to be strung and set up for 3 octaves per course of strings, but BEAD - EADG would be too high, I think, and break strings. Details samples and mini review in this other thread:

Maybe try a different tuning. maybe just sell it off to one of the likely suspects on here - not sure yet.

The funny thing was I bought it to convert to 3 octaves per course EADG using special strings from Octave4Plus - but he's out of stock currently. I wasn't expecting to come set up for 3 octaves per course. I have a query in to the builder to ask what the intended tuning is with the stock strings, but BEAD seems to work ok.
