Looking at the pictures I got this in October 2019, and I played her very little through the modification process….

Finished her last night, But tonight I really got to sit down with her, and I’m really loving how she sounds and feels, kinda glad since it took so long to finish her… I don’t know why but I didn’t really feel like I could sit down and enjoy her until she was completely finished…. What a relief..

It’s one them set neck or neck thru Epiphone Thunderbirds with Gibson pickups.

wired her Volume/blend/Tone

only unmodified pic I have…. Got her with the case for $200…

Quickly de-fretted her…

Didn’t like the shade of pink…

Then she sat with the electronicles un-finished…. there was a grounding problem I didn’t want to deal with so I thought a year sitting in the case would fix it…

I bought strings based solely on the colour…. 40-100’s

then I had an idea for a headstock logo and even tried to draw one unsuccessfully with a gold paint pen… (no pics…. results were horrible)

and just recently got some made.. I had expected to like the gold..

It's not done yet.

You need to buff out the orange peel and sag lines.

Looks really good though. That's a great, bold pink.

Another hour or two. And like 50 bucks in material.

I seriously doubt I will do much more to the finish, I'm enjoying her as she is, she would look great on stage.

She was an experiment with finishing the body and the lineless fretless board conversion too. I learned a lot.

Yeah, I pulled the frets out of my first bass a couple years ago. After 20 years of abuse, the frets were so smashed that they needed to be replaced. I tried to do it myself, with no knowledge or tools. Pulling them out was easy. I did it with a putty knife. Putting them back in, on the other hand, is what made me go fretless. I just sanded it, and poly'd the dust in as the filler. It actually worked out pretty good.

I like your style and your sense of humor. I would love a Snoopy/Peanuts themed bass. I just might have to find a decal of some sort for my PBass pick guard. You're giving me ideas. ;):bassist:
