This is the Standard P/J that sold for 350 at Guitar Center, It's not Affinity, not VM. The differences are the bridge & colors. VM is agathis body. You can read a lot of positive reviews here http://www.musiciansfriend.com/bass/squier-standard-p-bass-special-4-string-bass-guitar Cool P/J to modify but it's fine stock, nice & bouncy, good high end for slap or aggressive tones. I put a new set of roundwounds on it last night. She sings! It's probably in better condition than a lot of basses I see hanging in Guitar Center. Will trade for who knows try me. Its a 2001 Bass so there are some bumps but truly nothing that stands out terribly. You can't really see it unless you look for it from 12 inches away. Trade value $250.00 This beauty allows you to have the best of both worlds in 1 guitar.... Play the P or J separately, or blend them. This guitar is definitely a "good" Squier with lots of body and power to the pickups and tone.... I would say it is on par with my Fender MIMs. Pictures up soon. I accept paypal.
It's like a charcoal black metallic vibe thing going on you can see the microscopic silver specs coming thru.. Yeah black I would say.
