Preamp has been changed to the single board style SNC Haz clone. The preamp is made by a talkbass member and is a component for component clone of the US Haz preamp found in the NS2.
The bass is in pretty good shape but definitely has been played. There are several marks in the top above the p pickup. I'm told a previous owner liked to wear a bracelet on his picking hand when he played.
I believe this is an all maple model given the manufacturing date. Between the maple construction and the Haz clone its about as close as you can get to that NS2 sound for this price. Comes with a Spector gig bag. $1300 shipped CONUS or $1200 cash in person.
