Got another great Fender ‘62 AVRI Precision. It was a studio queen most of its life (2nd owner) so it’s in fantastic condition. Only blemishes are a couple minor finish checks between the bridge and pickup. Also note the screws on the original strap pins are wider than average so strap lock pins loosen if you don’t shim. Includes all original case candy, strap, G&G case, etc. here’s your chance to grab one of these fantastic instruments. Hoping for a local cash deal San Diego - L.A, but will ship if I have to, split shipping. May entertain trades or partials, so run them by me. Looking for : 4, 5, 6 string, fretted or fretless. I like 50's AVRIs, Bordwell, Stambaugh, Zon, Sadowsky Metro, etc. Also looking for a mesa 115 subway to complement my 112. Maybe a guitar as I sold most of mine. For 6 string I like ESP, telecasters, EBMM, and Sadowsky. Specs: 34” scale, 1 3/4 nut, 9.8 lbs on the bath scale (with covers on). 2006 model despite neck plate (these are dated by neck stamp anyway due to the infamous parts bin). {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
I pretty sure that the nut width on a ‘62 AVRI P is 1 3/4”. That’s a big plus for a lot of us P players. These are killer basses!
Got a decent amp head, but if you have a nice Berg cab locally, I'd consider that as a partial. I would also think about Aguilar, Mesa, or greenboy cabs.
