SOLD 2008 Fender Aerodyne Classic P-Bass Special (P/J) w/ Upgrades !!

Hi,

I'm listing my MIJ 2008 Fender Aerodyne P-Bass Special (P/J), (SN # SS005898) w/ several upgrades that have been professionally installed :

Upgrades include :

Nordstrand NPJ4SV 4 String P/J Size Split Coil Pick Ups
Hipshot A Style 4 String Bass Bridge Brass, Chrome, Retrofit 5 Hole Fender
HipShot D Extender
Custom Pickguard (Maroon Tortoiseshell)
Dunlop StrapLocks - Gold

I also gave her the Carl Pedigo treatment to the neck, as well as a pro set up, so she is playing fast and smooth. Although this bass is passive, it has a strong presence and punch as you would expect from the Nordstrand pickup upgrade.

Aside from the amazing curly maple top, the finish is flawless, and I was unable to find any dings, belt swirls or finish issues. Easy 9.5 condition. As this was never my main bass (a Stingray5), she has lived her life in a case and had less than 4 hours playing time from me.

I also will include :

Original hard case (in good shape, a few minor scuffs on exterior)
All original parts (pickups, pickguard, bridge, E tuning key, and strap holders)

Weight is 7.5 lb. as per pics.

Commreman is right !! My apologies, as I made an error in original description for the bridge type .. I remember I was debating mightily between BAII and Hipshot. Ended up with Hipshot.

My Ebay purchase records show that this is a : Hipshot A Style 4 String Bass Bridge Brass, Chrome, Retrofit 5 Hole Fender. Description is now updated.

Also, for anyone whose interested in a copy of the original receipts for the Nordstrand pickups - I can send you a copy electronically as I sourced these new from Best Bass Gear on 05/11/16. (Cost = $252.00).

Neal actually brings up a very interesting point here :

Fender manufacturer specs all state the nut width is 1.5", and naturally I just assumed that this is accurate, meaning why would one question officially published Fender specs etc. But upon measuring myself - the nut width is actually closer to 1.6". Hmm - very interesting.
