2011 Cliff Bordwell Big McNeely 32" Scale Four String Sold and on it's way to Ohio. Thanks Robert! My downsizing continues. I have owned this bass since July of 2012 and am the second owner. It was a custom build for the original owner. It has some minor playing wear, but nothing noticeable without very close inspection. Nothing that will photograph. It has been treated gently and maintained regularly. It has spent nearly all of its time with me in my year round, climate controlled music room. It is a wonderful example of Cliff's work and use of a variety of beautiful woods. It plays very well, is comfortable up and down the neck, and has no dead spots. It is the only bass I've seen with a figured Koa fingerboard and, in addition to being unusual, the Koa is beautiful. Please contact me via private message on this forum to ask questions or make an offer to buy this bass. I can usually respond to private messages within a couple hours. I am not interested in trades for this bass. All trade offers will be politely declined. This bass came to me without a case. I have purchased a new Gator G4 gig bag for it and will include that in the sale price. I pack very well and the bass should ship safely in the bag. If you want a more substantial case, I can include a gently used Reunion Blues Continental Voyager heavy bag for an additional $120. Enjoy the photos and thanks for looking. Koog Footnote: The recent edit is to correct the specs on the switch controls. Sorry for my error. I had a question today (August 19) from another member about the controls, got the bass out and played it and discovered the error. The control information in the specs above is now corrected. Thanks to Kenny for the question!
Geez somebody snap this beauty up. These are going to be prized in a few years. Everyone's sleeping now.
