Beautiful and rare (#2 of 2 per Moollon) JV in Chocolate with Ash body. Incredible bass in every way…neck is phenomenal, nitro finish, pickups are incredible, and that finish…just beautiful in person. This is a 2017, and I believe I am the second owner after purchasing this here in the TB classifieds. Very few dings in the thin nitro finish for its age. Comes with original tort guard and a black guard I ordered direct from Andi at Moollon. Currently strung with TI Flats. Also, I replaced the harness with a Kelling solderless Parallel/Series harness with a passive mid control (pull pot) on the tone pot. Completely passive and easily replaced if you wanted to put back in the original harness (included).
Why sell this rare and incredible bass? I’m not sure I want to. I just am a 4 string P guy and that doesn’t seem to change no matter how many Jazz basses I buy, and 5 strings make me think more than I want to when playing live. I just am a meat and potatoes, boring 4 string guy. In addition, a project I bought this bass for (needing a 5 string) fizzled, and now I’m back looking at nice P basses. I would really love a trade for a Molloon P4, but those seem very hard to come by.
