I’m the original owner, purchasing in March 2017. I picked this bass as the best playing and sounding from 3 Ric 4003s at the store. Neck shape is somewhere between my P Bass and my fretless Moollon Jazz. Perfect, if you ask me. Gorgeous figuring on the fretboard! Not a scratch or ding on this bass. I baby all of my stuff. Yes it has the push pull pot on the treble pickup tone knob for the old 4001 sound and the newer 4003 sound. Both sound fabulous.
There are a couple of very small white scuff marks on the original Ric case from rubbing against another case. I just rarely ever play this beauty. Gigged on a few songs twice just trying to find a place for it in my band. As much as I love it, it needs to be played. I will also include a truss rod tool and a stereo cable (shown) that lets you run the Ric O Sound, which, to me, is the best way to play these basses.
