I’ve been hung up on the unlined fretless maple board look since Frampton Comes Alive and this is a sweet one. Original owner here, not long after receiving it I came to the realization that for me a fretless five (my fretless maple SB-2 dies with me) is easier said than done and this poor fellow has been sitting quietly in it’s case for too long. The boring stuff - 9 pounds 14 ounces, 34” scale with 17mm spacing at the bridge, 1.8” wide and .85” thick at the nut, 2.75” wide and .95” thick at the 17th, passive V / V / T, Candy Apple Red, alder body - maple neck, and mayo over Miracle Whip. Includes the original G&L tolex hard case and the paperwork package. No uglies of note front or back or neck with only the slightest of string tracks on the board, pretty much in the same new condition that it was when I ordered it four years ago. $1250 shipped CONUS, this bass gets with it.
