2022 Sadowsky Metroline VP5 Almond Burst

Here's another Sadowsky I'll have to let go. Probably the lightest bass I've ever owned, and it throws a punch. I was a bit skeptical about this finish but it is amazing! I don't know if I was able to capture how beautiful it is on the pictures. I've seen burst satin finishes before and they didn't impress me. Not this one. I think it is because it doesn't smooth the surface out and lets the wood grain come through, you can see it and feel it.

As I stated in my other ad, I think this collaboration between Roger Sadowsky and Hans-Peter Wilfer (from Warwick) is dynamite. This bass combines Roger's many years of perfectioning jazz basses with Hans-Peter's German pragmatic approach to the player's needs.

In particular, I really appreciated the additions to the German Metroline, when compared to the older MIJ line. such as the no screws cavity cover, the Just-A-Nut III adjustable nut, the soft cover pickups, the "invisible frets" (frets don't stick out the fingerboard), and the consistent light weight.
