Ooh the "mixed drivers police" will be after you! ;) I say try it, see how it sounds, though I'd lean more towards the 1x15" than the 1x12". Really depends on the driver though, modern 12" drivers can be quite impressive.

Assuming you want to stay in the Rumble family...a single Rumble 1x12, which is no longer in production, and almost as scarce as hen's teeth, would get you part of the way there.
If you really want to double your pleasure, adding a second Rumble 2x10 cab will get you twice as loud as the single 2x10 setup.
Regardless of what you have for your current 2x10, adding another like it would be the sweet deal IMHO.

I used a Berg AE112 and AE210 for a few years. They worked well together. Also mixed Mesa Boogie 210EV and 115EV for about 8 years, and they sounded fantastic.

Not all cabs mix well, but some definitely do.

cheers buddy i do have access to a 112 rumble i did have 2 x 210 at one time but was just looking to have a slightly smaller rig as the 210 just wasnt doing it for me on its own and 2 210 was just agro getting into some places. both being rumbles and both at 8 ohms i figured would be an ok match.

I understand. A lot of folks run the Rumble 2x10 with a 1x12 and it seems to work well. Hope you find something thst works for you.

I do the dreaded mixed brand/driver faux pas. The 112 and 210 orientation can give you some decent height with very little footprint. This really helps in tight places when you need to hear yourself.
