215 Speaker Suggestions

Trying to help out a friend of mine. Hes looking for new speakers for his Mesa Diesel 215 paired with an Acoustic 220 all played heavily distorted. Price is an issue so was thinking about Alpha 15's? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

I just got 2x15 Acoustic cab (106) from Guitar Center (used. Hell, WELL USED! Made in 1972) for $100. Replaced dust caps, cleaned cab... Looks and plays like day 1 when it came out from the factory.

BTW, if old speakers are bad, they can be fixed easy.
