23 inch scale strings

I gots me one of them Rondo solid bodies. I really hate the rubber type strings that it came with so I'm looking for a more traditional replacement. Preferably tape or flat.

I see strings by mail is carrying a brand called Galli in 23 inch. Does anyone have experience with these strings or a different recommendation?

If they're the same Galli that makes the 34" scale JF4505 Jazz Flats that I'm lovin" on my EBMM 4HH Stingray Special? The ones I got from Strings By Mail? Then, yes; I'd say they're good strings. Very good strings, IMO. I know that there have been a few complaints about a bad string here and there, but; there are complaints about a bad string from just about every string company. All I know, is... I certainly have no complaints about the Galli strings I'm playing...

Well, I ordered a set of the Galli tapewounds in 23". Even if I don't like them I know I'll like them better than the rubber bands on it currently.

Be forewarned they are black nylon, but not tapewounds though. The outer winding is a round-section filament.
