2512 Deltalites what would you do?

You should be able to work out the math to see what compromises work well for you.

Did you look at the Eminence cab design doc?
For clarification, @Wasnex and I have both linked you to the same page. Further clarification: the design data contained there will give you recommended internal volume and port size. You can then 'design' your cab to yield this internal volume.
It depends on what you want to accomplish. The previously-linked documents are great resources.
Me? I like to build things, but I don't want to invest the time and energy it takes to design something unique that also performs well. I would build a pair of BFM Simplexx cabs. Carry one cab when it's enough and both when one isn't.

I have a couple in the closet as well. I have (casual) plans to get a third and do a 3x12 cab, for use with my 2.67 ohm capable amps.
I just used the Eminence 212 bass guitar specs for mine . Was a great bass cabinet on stage .

Source of my confusion...you mentioned a 2x15 and we are talking about a 12. The link you provided does not mention the 2512. I didn't both opening it because I thought you were talking about the wrong driver

I retired as a Union Electrician last October and wanted a project to keep me occupied . I've built several bass cabs , a few fEarfuls , a DrBass copy and one of my own design . Chris Cole is always trying new designs and I had my eye on one of his , the sealed 15/6 , but I would have to build two to use with my current amp and that was stretching my budget too much . Now he has a new 212 slant cab and the demos he did sounded great with the Deltalite 2512 II and gave me inspiration to try my own .
I have a Deltalite 2512 II in another cab already . If I bought another one and replaced the speaker in my existing cab with a Beta 12 I'd have a pair of the Deltalites and it wouldn't be too expensive . Instead of copying Chris's design I used an Eminence design for a 212 cab .

The cabinet will be 4.1 cubic foot with four 3" flared ports 2 1/2" long , two in front bottom and two on the back top . 36" tall and 16" wide and 16" deep . All 1/2" plywood . I'm going to use an Eminence APT80 tweeter crossed over at 5000 Hz. I'll build my own crossover and use an adjustable l-pad . I debated using a 6"mid or even a large waveguide horn and compression driver but I really want to keep this one simple and inexpensive . Also Chris's demo sold me on the tone with just a tweeter .
I just got the baffle glued in today so I thought I'd post a pic or two to show what I'm doing . More to come later .

I have a couple of those drivers as well. They were good drivers, but....nowadays we have drivers that give you twice the excursion. I made my dream cabinets just in time to have all my gigs go ampless, so not only do I have spare drivers, I have cabs that are...end tables functionally.
Why is that ? The lowend sound coming out is omni directional isn't it . It sure worked okay in my cabinet .
this reminds me when you have two speakers facing opposite direction which is what I have in ampeg SVT-212r. which isn't my favorite cab for my room.. I think it
creates phase problems.

The signals aren’t phase coherent, so there will be some irregularities. May not be terrible, but generally not desirable either.

Looks like a good implementation of Eminence's "DeltaLite-II 2512 Vented 2x12 Bass Guitar Cabinet". Tweet/crossover could be left out, and ports could be combined on front or back if that's a concern.

You can build the cabinet to my dimensions and inset the baffle 1 1/4" . With good bracing inside that will give you the right inside area . Put the 4 ports on the back and put two at the top and two on the bottom per what Agedhorse said about not mixing front and back ports . 3"diameter 2 1/2 long . If you can figure out how to put the ports on the front that would be even better without worrying about being too close to a back wall . The cabinet will be able to handle about 325 watts but my buddy Bruce who bought the cab from me and I have used an Ampeg PF 800 with it and it's a very good standalone cab . We have used it on outdoor stages and casino and bar gigs and we never want for volume . A smaller wattage head like the Mesa 350 watt head would be safer and still put out a lot of volume .
