Hi guys, I love my Greenboy designed 15subs, they're the greatest cabs I've ever had the pleasure of playing through, let alone owning them. Building them was a gas. However, they've been too much on several occasions, owing to stage size, and similar factors. And I can't afford a "Authorized Builder" project.
I'm going micro, and a design I'm looking at involves a Eminence 210 vented cab design for the 3010. I'd like to add a mid chamber from the GB 12/6 design, using the open-back Alphalite 6a. And a x-over from the 1212/6 (or similar). Then sticking a Portaflex 350 on top.
Please no flamers, if you want to flame, go flame people who want to relic a brand new instrument.
I'm just a dumbass wood butcher/ bass player who's trying to save a buck, and have some fun in the woodshop.
Me and Winisd have never seen eye-to-eye, I know zilch about crossovers, other that they seem to be a necessary evil.
