Hey folks,

Any suggestions for video & sound video camera? Looking for any suggestion and help start to finish on a reasonable budget. This would mostly be for my own memories, maybe posting a few on YouTube. Please move thread to proper forum if this is not correct. Thanks in advance for your help!

This forum is mostly about bass. For more indepth info on recording and using music with video, check out Invalid Link Removed.

You have two challenges: video, in which the capture device is 360 surround. And audio. Your bigger problem is audio. Generally audio capture sucks on cameras. If you want killer sound, you have to capture is separately and merge it with the video stream. With 360, where is the audio point of view? Where the cameraperson is standing? Over to the right? Behind you? is the camera moving around? It's a rat's nest. And a HECK of an investment of money and effort to pull off even at a semi-pro level just for your memories and a few YT posts. Good luck!
