3Pro = not bad at all.

I remember reading lots of threads about how the 3pro wasn't loud enough. I'm not finding that to be the case at all. In fact I find it to have great tone and plenty of head room. And the darn thing is built like a tank. Mines been kept in the truck for the past year and I haven't had 1 issue.

I don't think so either. I have a 3 pro on a SVT 6x10 and it sounds good. I did have a little trouble with it but had it worked on and no issues since. What really made it sing was a SansAmp Programmable Bass Driver DI ran into the back of it. Then if you want to shake the rafters a little, run the DI of the amp to the PA.

I have a 3 Pro that I run with a Schroeder 1215L and it gets plenty loud. I have it in a rack with a Trace Elliot V-Type preamp which I run into the poweramp in jack on the Ampeg and that combination REALLY sounds good. It's kind of cool having access to both the SVT and Showman tone stacks in the same rig.

I do think its a tad under rated as a head.

I used to have a 3 Pro. I could make it hurt when I needed it. All about cranking the gain with your ears and not eyes.

I kinda wish I still had mine. I think they sound great, and loud enough for my needs...
