I am interested in the straps,which did you find most comfortable for a heavy bass, the italia or the mono betty?

I'd say they both do a good job of that. The mono is not as wide, but it has padding in it. The Italia straps are wider, but don't have any padding. Different approaches to solving that problem I'd say.

I have a question about the Mono Betty. I'm a 5' female and I find that most bass straps are too long. Is it adjustable and do you think it would work for someone my height?

The Betty is adjustable - and the "short" length version can get quite short.
