5 string bass

Hi have decided to try a 5 string bass I gave got it down to 3 choices 1 s/hand 2 new.
I live in Oz & prices are dearer here but thats the way it .
What would you go for & why Also its very hard to find much info on Yamaha basses , as there web site is very limmited & is there much diffrence between the 2 Yamahas ? All 3 are active the 2 Yamahas are soap bars where the Cort is a single & a humbucker . The prices are about $75 between the 3.
Has any 1 ever had the 2 Yamahas
I have thought about 2nd had in the States BUT prices range from $100 to $400 to ship these bass to Australia via ebay etc

Living in Oz perhaps you should try a "Bass of a Different Color"

I've played a lot on the 675, I can tell you that the neck pup is a P in soap casing. sounds solid, feels good, but you wont get a lot of attack out of it, like you do with the 375.
