So I'm getting ready to start my first from scratch build and wanted to start a thread. I've done one mod project (http://www.talkbass.com/threads/intro-and-pics-of-first-mod-build.1056125/#post-15540397)to learn and get a feel for some of the equipment, but this'll be my first true build. I read about every build thread in Luthier's Corner and you guys have been a huge inspiration to try this project, so I wanted to post and hopefully be a small inspiration to someone else.
Specs:
5-string
34" scale
24 fret
Body: spalted sycamore, walnut, padauk, walnut, spalted sycamore
Neck: p/w/p/w/p
Fretboard: ziricote
Pickups: 2x Delano JMVC-5 FE (or possibly MC-5 FE, haven't fully decided)
Preamp: Glockenklang 2-band
Tuners: Hipshot Ultralites
Bridge: custom bridge, 16.5mm string spacing
And what everyone actually cares about, pictures. Here are some screenshots of the design. It's my own shape, though it definitely takes some cues from some of my inspirations. It's pretty low key, but I like it that way.

Feel free to throw comment or suggestions my way. I'm definitely still learning and am always open to input, or questions for what little I know.
I'll throw up wood pictures later. I can't seem to find them so I'll take some new ones when I get home.
